Overview
We mainly serve hand-kneaded soba noodle from spring to autumn. The most popular Tenzaru soba/udon is assorted with tempura (deep-fried dish) of highland and mountain vegetables we grow ourselves including especially popular Japanese radish and turnip. It gives you a special feeling to eat soba noodles seeing clean river water under the terrace and hearing the songs of Kajika stream frogs and kingfishers. We have been producing highland vegetables and rice for 45 years. Fresh vegetables picked in the morning are sold here. Turnip produced from the end of May to mid-June is best in Japan. (Tasting is offered.)
